SummitUp: A Social Media Confab in Dayton October 19th

Registration is now open for the second annual SummitUp event which this year will be held at the Sinclair Community College Ponitz Center in downtown Dayton.

SummitUp is a full-day social media seminar being presented by a team of Dayton organizations including the Greater Dayton Advertising Association, Dayton chapter of the American Marketing Association, the Dayton Creative Syndicate, Technology First and a few others. 

This year SummitUp will feature keynotes from my old boss back in my PlanetFeedback.com days Pete Blackshaw, John Moore, Steve Lance and Brian Solis.  There will also be breakout sessions on a variety of social media topics by local Cincinnati & Dayton social media experts including including Kevin Dugan, Kendra Ramirez, Michael Rubin, David Esrati, Debba Haupert and Krista Neher. 

Not only will there be A TON of great social media content and networking opportunities, but also included are a continental breakfast, lunch AND books from 3 of the keynote speakers.  The event is only $139 for members of the presenting organizations and $179 for non-members, so it is an event where you really do get a lot for the money.

Thanks so much for helping to spread the word about SummitUp. SummitUp should prove to be an amazing day. We are really excited about hosting the event here in Dayton, and hope to attract people from Cincinnati, Columbus, Indy, Toledo, Lexington, Knoxville, Louisville, and beyond. It will come on the heels of the Digital Hub conference in Cincinnati, which will be an equally amazing event. These two events represent a significant opportunity for people in the region to build both valuable connections and marketable skills. I'm happy to spread the word about SummitUp and agree it will again prove to be an excellent opportunity for those who attend to build connections and add to their social media knowledge. It's great to be able to not only hear from but interact with local experts like Michael and Kevin but national experts like Brian Solis. Last year it was great to not only hear Bob Garfield and Chris Brogan speak but talk with them as they autographed their books. I'm also glad you mentioned the regional aspect of the meeting as I met some great people from Columbus and Kentucky at last year's event. See you there.
